First and foremost it is my obligation to observe and preserve your celebration. I aim to strategically document 75% of your wedding or elopement day in a documentary and unobtrusive way. I do provide direction and posing during key portrait moments such as family formals and select bridal party portraits if applicable. A majority of my workflow with couples follows prompt based direction.

I have professionally been shooting weddings since 2006 with over 400+ weddings in my book.

Most clients book me about a year in advance, sometimes even two years out. There are occasional spontaneous requests I’m able to accommodate but the sooner you reach out, the more likely the date is open on my calendar.

I don’t, however I know really amazing people who do. I’d be happy to provide you with a list of my favorite vendors including videographers.

During high season (typically May-November) I’m able to deliver final images within 6 weeks. Sneak peeks are delivered 48 hours after your wedding day.
Portrait sessions sill be delivered within 2-3 weeks.

Because I’m primarily a documentary photographer, I don’t typically work off a shot list, but rest assured I cover details, formals, couples and bridal party, as well as key moments, and all the candids. The ideal shot list would encompass family formals and desired groups of people.

No, as I believe editing is crucial step and part of the magic is created in post production. Without editing, the images are only half baked, so to speak.

I’d really love to hold space for you but I can’t promise to do so without a signed contract and retainer. I work on a first come first serve basis. If another couple is encroaching on your date and you and your partner haven’t yet booked, I do reach out to you prior to moving forward with the second (or third!) inquiry. Every season there are a number of popular dates with multiple inquiries, so it’s best to book sooner rather than later.

USB’s are available as an add on. All images are delivered via an online cloud delivery system (available for one year) that can be shared with friends and family. You have the option to download images to your desktop, dropbox, or Google Photo Drive as well as order any images directly through my lab. I encourage my couples to back up their images on alternate drives.
